10% Glass Fiber Reinforced PSU is a subcategory of Polysulfone. The additative is added by weight during the manufacturing process. Its elastic modulus ranges from 555 to 740 MPa. Its flexural modulus ranges from 590 to 650 MPa. Its flexural strength ranges from 21000 to 24500 MPa. Its molding pressure ranges from 50 to 100 MPa.
Polysulfone, also known as PSU, is a thermoplastic polycondensate. The most common trade name is Ultrason. poly(ethersulfone) It is an expensive material. It is electroplatable and has high strength, good toughness, good dielectric strength, and dimensional stability. It is commonly used in electric connectors.
