PSU is a subcategory of Polysulfone. Its elongation at break ranges from 60 to 120 %. Its specific gravity ranges from 1.29 to 1.3. Its molding pressure ranges from 10 to 20 MPa.
Polysulfone, also known as PSU, is a thermoplastic polycondensate. The most common trade name is Ultrason. poly(phenylene-sulfone) It is an expensive material. It is electroplatable and has high strength, good toughness, good dielectric strength, and dimensional stability. It is commonly used in electric connectors.
Other common Polysulfone (PSU) include Injection Molding, Flame-Retardant, Extrusion PSU, Mineral Filled PSU, Extrusion / Injection Molding Grade PSU, 20% Glass Fiber Reinforced PSU, 30% Carbon Fiber EMI Shielding (conductive) PSU, Injection Molding, Platable Grade PSU, PSU, Unfilled PSU, 10% Glass Fiber Reinforced PSU, 20% Glass Fiber Reinforced PSU, 30% Carbon Fiber EMI Shielding (conductive) PSU, Unreinforced PSU, and Mineral Filled PSU.
