Part Per Thousand (ppt) is a unit in the category of Fraction. It is also known as parts per thousand. This unit is commonly used in the INT unit system. Part Per Thousand (ppt) has a dimension of nil (fraction) where L is length, T is time, N is amount of substance, and I is electric current. It can be converted to the corresponding standard SI unit by multiplying its value by a factor of 0.001.
Note that the seven base dimensions are M (Mass), L (Length), T (Time), Q (Temperature), N (Aamount of Substance), I (Electric Current), and J (Luminous Intensity).

Other units in the category of Fraction include Carat (karat) (ct, Kt), Part Per Billion (ppb), Part Per Hundred (pph, %), Part Per Hundred Million (pphm), Part Per Hundred Thousand (ppht), Part Per Million (ppm), Part Per Quadrillion (ppq), and Part Per Tera (ppt).
